Sue Pither

Sue (Exhibition Co-ordinator) graduated as a mature student in 1998 with a BA (Hons) Woven & Printed Textiles from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design. Having spent several years dyeing and printing wearable textiles, she developed an interest in 3-D textile sculpture, which she exhibits regularly at The Selborne Gallery, as a member of the Hampshire Artists’ Cooperative. In 2008 she began printmaking at South Hill Park, which took her work in a new and exciting direction. Printmaking has now become her passion, using both intaglio and relief techniques with solar, etched and linocut plates. In 2011 Sue, with other South Hill Park printmakers took part in the 20:20 Print Exchange project with Hot Bed Press and the Bracknell Clinic Art project. www.artysue.co.uk and www.hampshireartistscooperative.co.uk
