SUE studied BA(Hons) in Woven & Printed Textiles as a mature student and now describes herself as a textile artist and printmaker.  She is Internal exhibitions coordinator for Print @ the Park, being a member for 3 years.  From the development of an idea, through the preparation and making of print plates to producing the final image, printmaking  is totally absorbing.  The magical moment when the finished print is revealed as the blankets are pulled back from the press and the paper lifted is a new excitement every time.  As well as printing at South Hill Park Sue is now lucky enough to own her own press.

 

Sue also makes 3D textile sculptures and original prints as a member of the Hampshire Artists' Cooperative based in Selborne.
