PAUL started printmaking at an evening class at Morley College, Lambeth, for three years. Prior to that he had gained a BA degree in Fine Art at Bristol Faculty of Art and Design.

After a long gap, whilst working in industry and education, he resumed printmaking at a class at South Hill Park Arts Centre in 2014. Here he had caught the "bug" again.

Paul works mainly from photographs, taken both locally and whilst on trips abroad, as source material, and is especially interested in texture and the interplay between geometric and organic forms. His work is predominantly etching and aquatint
