Trish Roberts: often inspired by the natural world; always excited by experimenting with new techniques and different forms of art making.

 

Trish’s current work is driven by materiality and sustainability. Developed during her recently completed Master’s programme, this approach shifts the emphasis from producing a finished image to celebrating the substrate itself, embracing often-overlooked resources – waste cardboard packaging for instance – and using them as her printmaking plates.

 

It’s been a stimulating phase in her art where the emerging work reveals richly textured and unexpected marks from these humble origins.

 

In 2025 her work gained awards at The Bath Society of Artists’ Open exhibition and at the Materiality exhibition in London. In 2026 she has exhibitions at Arlington Arts, Newbury and at the Mons Memorial Museum in Belgium.
